Default Sigma 120 - 300 2.8 HSM OS VR, etc. etc.

Anyone have any experience with the Sigma 120 - 300 2.8 lens with their version of VR? Considering getting one to use with a 1.4 or 2.0 teleconverter for Nikon.

    Thanks for any input!

I have one but haven't used much yet. I have Kenko Pro 1.4x and Sigma TC 2X. Most use is with TC 2X.
The gallery at flickr is not well organized but there are some pictures there.

From the beginning of the gallery until page 6 the photos were taken with some combination of the gear above using a 7D.
It ends just before the colorchecker photo on page 6.
    Except for:
    - humminbirds
    and http://www.flickr.com/photos/fabiobe...ceouseuphonia/

All are processed with LR. Some are cropped. If you'd like to see some 100% crop of any picture, let me know that I'll post it here.

It has been raining a lot since New Year's day, I didn't have the opportunity to take the moon shot.

    Hope this helps.
