A while back I posted a photo of my first grand child, Macey.
Here is Addison, my second at 18 months old.
I am only posting this, not because they are the cutest kids on the planet (which they are, to me), but because
I think I missed my calling.
I spend enormous time taking mediocre bird photos when I can take photos like this just watching her play in the sand.
A 70-200 lens portrait, the best kind.

Beautiful portrait( and subject) Dan. I know what you mean. chasing birds, we do a lot of injustice to these beautiful easilly accessible subjects :-)
