    Cute bird, very nice angle and bg. The comp does a great job in down playing the size of the perch relative to the bird.
    Nice exposure. I would probably have traded SS for lower ISO + DOF if going for a static image, but noise is looks very well handled.

    Very nicely captured , love the BG and perch. Wish you had a little more DOF to get the tails a little sharper.

    Frank, nice bird, angle and BG. nice details as well. Looks like you were set up to freeze some motion with the high SS. well done.

    one suggestion is removing the tiny second catchlight.

    nice little bird - I have not seen these before. I like the detail in the breast feathers. looks like a long tail.

    Nice image Frank! I like the details, pose and clean BG. I agree with Sidharth on lowering SS for more DOF.

    very nice delicate specie. a bit more room to the right would help. you can post up to 1024 pixels wide for better viewing

    Excellent birdie and capture with nice clean bg and momentum .. Wish you could have achieved more dof .

    Hi Frank, what an interesting shaped bird, love the 'roundness' of this fellow. I like the perch and BG, but not sure what is below the perch, as I would like to the bird placed higher in the frame.
