    Hi Folks;

    Photographed in our garden in Green Valley, AZ last week under clear sunny blue skies.

    Olympus E-3, Zuiko 70-300 mm ED 140-600 equiv @ 350 mm

    AP: 1/250s, F/6.3, ISO 100, 0.00eV, AWB, CWA Fill flash FL50s TTL

    Looks like whites on perch are blown. Should have corrected that.

    Gus, Nice image. The background is very nice, and I didn't really notice the blown highlights in the perch. On my Monitor, it does look like the bird may have been slightly oversharpened, but listen to others before you take my word for it.

    Hi Uncle Gus, there are a few "cajun pixels" in the perch and also the bird's left leg but you can probably fix that... I love the inquisitive pose and the color rendition. The crop feels a little awkward to me - maybe about half of the space off of the top and a sliver from the right? Good catch!

    I love the shot. I love finches. I love the background. I only wish the tones in the branches were toned down a bit, so that more detail were visible.
