Very nice picture and i fully unterstand your decission of the format - for me perfect match of a nice bird in a colorful habitat!
The burrowing owl is also highest on my list while my visit of Florida in April - i hope i will be lucky and find some!

Very pretty! Flowers add such a nice touch of color and I like how the grass on the left and the twigs on the right serve as a natural frame. Light is sweet and the eye contact is perfect. I guess you can tell that I really love this one.

Another beautiful capture Kaustubh...you made beautiful images from the short opportunity...you captured this fella in almost all natural settings it hangs around in...Excellent Low angle, beautiful BG and bird is sharp...Enjoyed it.

It amazes me how you make such brilliant images with 400mm prime...I gave a shot to it and miserably failed with it. I know it takes practice but I am missing many good opportunities in the process so will go 100-400 way.

Very very nice. Grace took the words right out of my mouth. I really like the low POV. Love the flowers,

Excellent image Kaustubh! I like the setting, sharpness, eyes and BG. Looks like you got him just before sunset. This is my favourite of your series so far.

Excellent shot. I agree with the horizontal format, that shows the habitat very nicely. Great light and detail. I took a stab at these fellows in Florida last week, but in my brief attempt I could never get the whole bird clear of his surroundings, nor the great full-face stare that you have here. Well done.

Very nice shot , low to the ground and nice cooperative subject. The BG flowers had a touch to the beautiful BG.

Great light, shooting angle, and setting, Kaustubh. I would prefer this one over the vertical crop as this one shows the nice environment.

A great image Kaustubh. This little guy/gal is becoming very popular. Good choice with the horizontal crop. I like the nice light and low POV. Well done.

I might like this picture the best among the ones posted so far, Kaustubh.
Great light, composition and the flowers in the for- and background add to it a lot.
