    Default Neon Lotus Bud

This is one of my favorite lotus flower images because I like bright colors. I posted this before but probably not as a theme image. I think I used Topaz Adjust and Clean, combined the layers and I changed the blend mode to linear burn on the top layer to get this effect.

Gorgeous colors and form, Judy. Now that's a Hot Pink! I really like the presentation/comp against a black BG.

I see you have gone for bold contrast and this is nice and crisp Judy. It reminds me of stained glass.

Love the framing, the simple image design, and the dark BKGR. But the hot pink is a bit too hot for me. You might wish to post a toned down version for us pansies .

Judy, You nailed the neon pink color! I love the flow of the petal and it is something that I look for when photographing these buds. A toned down version would also look appealing. Nice job!

Thanks everyone! Artie and Denise, here is a toned-down version although not by too much. I layered the prior version on top but it got too "muddy" looking to me when I raised the opacity very much so this is about 33%. I tried just desaturating the image and it also got muddy looking.

This is beautiful, Judy. I too like the form and the colors of the repost. Nice processing.

    Nice image and application, Judy.

I like the first one, but both are nice. Just a little brighter!

Neon is the right word for the colors in this image! Wow! Especially nice against the black bg. Lovely shapes.

Hi Judy, love the blossom and the processing. The repost works better for me. I might be inclined to tone down a touch more, but that's just me. Nice work!
