    This was shot on a Groyne along the Sanspit of Christcurch Harbour, Dorset.

    Canon 7D
    Canon 400mm 5.6
    f/7.1, (1/1250)
    ISO 800
    WB - Auto
    Manual Exposure
    Hand Held.

    Very nice habitat shot. Sharp where it counts, although maybe a little too sharp in places. Head angle could be better, but the side lighting would have presented some exposure challenges. I would have traded a bit of SS to get the far foot in focus.

    Nice picture. A little more contrast in the chest, had done that it was better picture. It is not easy to photograph these quick Shore bird.
    I'm trying to get the sun behind me, to get the bird evenly illuminated

    A nice species that is often difficult to shoot. Well done! Lighting a bit harsh but handled well on the bird. A little more head turn would have been nice but a fine photo.
