    Default Ant-eating Chat - Kgalagadi

Trying to catch the Chats as they took off was quite challenging. This was the best of the lot, unfortunately nothing in its beak.

    good timing here Arne
I like the wing position and the Kalahari flowers in the BG
Ideally a lower angle would have been cool but we know this isn't possible in the Kgalagadi being so close to the birds shooting out of your vehicle.

You got a nice wings-up pose from this little guy. A shame about the twig behind the bird's head. Remember that you can post 1024 pixels wide and 800 high. And also please include your EXIF data.

A larger post (1024) would have been nice Arne. Wing position nicely caught.

    I'd say it's a really nice action/environment shot.
