    Can't stop clicking this red beauty. Such a colorful bird!!

    Looks like you did a fine job in post processing...its easy to over saturate reds, but
    yours looks ok to me. Also a good choice in aperture to keep the whole bird in focus.

    The only thing I'd change is the cropping. Its a little to centered for me. Not to sure
    which way to go...its 5am right now here :)...but I'm thinking cropping a little off
    the right, cutting off that little piece of the limb that's kind of branching off the main
    part of the limb.

    Wonderful shot. I really like the pose, sharp, lovely background, and exposed very well. Agree on the comp. If mine I would take some of the back and a tad to the front. Other than that...
    Well done.

    Doug, Robert - Thanks for you comments/suggestions. I am personally not very happy with the crop either . But I had a lot of distraction on both sides and this was something I felt decent.
