After the squabbling buntings image I posted a few days ago I now present you a friendlier Snow Bunting just enjoying the winter farmland. This "perch" is atop the snowbank lining a country backroad, and the flock of buntings is attracted to seeds placed along the bottom. Moments after this image was taken a snowplow came over to widen the road and destroyed the beautiful fresh-looking snow-covered bank. Time to wait for another snowfall to cover the now dirty mounds!

That is one sweet lady. Love the perfect EXP, the pose, the image design, and the SH.

Love this Daniel! Really a sweet shot. Love how you caputured it atop a snowy bank. Such sweet light and exposure. Really a gorgeous shot! Love the HA.
As mentioned, perfect exposure with great detail in the snow in foreground, handsome bird, well composed.
THe only tweak I might consider is to do a light clone stamp of the brown/tan tree in the background in front of the bird. The snow is so white that the subtle brown really pulls my eye.
Picture perfect. This image just screams winter all over it, and I really like the setting. Very well exposed, the bunting is well placed in the frame, and the colours of the bunting stand out nicely from the snowy surroundings. I like this lots and lots.
Pretty much perfect, Daniel. flawless , IMO. the low angle, snow, bird sitting on the top, the textures, sharpness, exposure, distant BG, DOF...so many things to like here.
