I really like the landing pose. Very dynamic. IQ is good. I would smooth out the line created in the BG on the left of vulture. I also see a whitish halo around the tail-was something done in PP or is it just the BG?

I like the sharpness, outstretched talons and landing pad. I agree with Gail about the line in the BG. Well done Craig!

You always get those great landing poses with killer backgrounds. There does seem to be a peculiar urgency to this landing. Wish the far wing were a tad more visible.

Thanks for your comments Gail and Jim
Is it the line at the top left hand corner ??
I did not notice the halo until you mentioned it, will have to check what caused it

Love the dramatic pose and wonderful BG!
Top left corner is fine for me.
Agree with Marina that better position on the far wing would make it even better.

Sharp with a dynamic landing pose. EXP right on. I only wish that the bird were set against the all green BKGR and that the darker area were elsewhere. All in all excellent.

Hi Craig, well placed in the frame, and I do like the extended legs for the incoming landing. GC BG's rock.

    Thanks for your comments
I normally don't take too much notice of my background and in this image it's clear that I need to revisit this - Thanks to all for your comments in this regard
Yes Stuart it's the famous GC rock :-)

That is a real peach of a shot - great action composition and exposure.
