    This image was taken on a recent trip to Kalahari ,out of the seven days we only had two that had no cloud cover or rain ....this was shot on one of them.

    This Tawny had tried to capture something in this tree and flew around it several times to flush it out ...this was one of the times it perched close enough to get an image....

    iso 640, f8 @ 1250 wimberely head ,car bracket. D3 200-400 vr lens

    Great image, this guy is really looking at you! I also find the details on wings very good.

    Hi Peter!

    Very nice flight image with probably difficult conditions. Underside was probably in deep shadows, but it now looks a bit too light from here. My suggestion for improvement is to try and contain the large halo surrounding the Tawny, that is attracting my eye.

    Hi Peter,
    Nice image; would be more of an impact if you off center your subject...:D Add more canvas to the right of his flight path...:)

    Too much centered on the frme IMO but a nice result . the eye contact is fantastic!!
