    Default Confrontation

Been very busy lately.....so haven't been around in a while......took some time today to catch up! I am torn on this one a bit.....I generally prefer to see both animals but as it was in tall grass and they never faced each other......this was what I got and I like that you can make out who the other confronter is. You r thoughts welcomed!

    Hi Roman,
I like the detail and your perspective. The fact that the spotted hyena's back is only visible does not bother me. The composition and placement of the cheetah is spot on. well done and I can't wait to see more. Thanks for sharing and best wishes,
    Mark.

Roman - I love the cheetah and the colors, particularly the eyes. I think the concept works well. I do wish that the hyena had lifted its head above the grass but this is the classic hyena stance and I have no doubt what it is. One I would like to have in my files.

TFS and good to have you back posting.

There's no doubt as to this shape Roman, an excellent example of confrontation with the head on cheetah view.

    Hey Roman,
As others have stated, no need for facial contact with the hyena, the spots and shape are unmistakeable. The gaze of the cheetah in that direction solidifies the interaction and provides a nice sense of tension.

    Roman,

The Cheetah itself is of remarkable quality, the lack of a full view of the Hyena does not worry me at all!

    Tremendous behavioural image

Hi Roman, this one really works. The focus point is perfect, on the Cheetah, with the Hyena in the BKG so to speak. The stance, pose, look all conveys a dramatic encounter. Not sure if you have stepped up on your PP, but this one really 'rocks' in Harshads words, executed & composed perfectly.

Ticks my boxes, Roman! Good light on the cheetah's eyes too.

thanks All! Another surprise as I thought for sure people wouldn't like the obscured hyena......like my wife. We've got an even split going so far on images we both had reservations with!
