    I really like what you were going for here. You have great details. I really like the duck's but in the FG b/c those patterns add a lot to this image. The only thing I am wishing for here is for the duck not to appear so sleepy and that just isn't controllable. At least the viewers know he wasn't bothered by your presence.

    Thanks Marina. I was hoping he would open the eyes more but I guess I caught him at nap time.

    Great portrait shot here Jim. Very crisp detail and textures. I believe we visited that pond on our first trip to Kingsville, but we didn't see any Pintails. :(

    Hi Jim, good detail on the head, and I like how the plumage gradually changes colour across the head. Good through view of the nostril, and the BG colour compliments the pintail nicely.
