Stated flipping this image of a backlit leaf - inverted and overlapped layers using luminosity blend mode. Tried different color combinations by adjusting hue but it was too jumbled with different colors and seemed to distract from the lines. Selected image and clicked on "colorize" in the Hue/Sat adjustment which made it mono color, then adjusted hue and sat to get initial pink color. Applied some PB oil, and Topaz Adjust 5 / Tone collection (don't remember exact one) to get final color tones, then bit of sharpening. Oh yeah, I used Twirl in PP Distort filters to add curves.

I like how the colors work together, especially with the black background. It's probably mostly the shapes, but the colors probably help to make it even more dynamic. I like the layers and the overall composition, as well.

Love the layers, waves and colors, Brendan! Great OOTB combination of effects. Looks perfect on black. I especially like the way you handled the partial symmetry.

Sweeeeet! The bold colors and tones against the black BG as well as the shapes all come together very nicely!

Brendan, I love the color combination and especially the bands of different pinks (and the twirl - that was a nice touch).
