Hi all, I am very sorry for my lack of participation in the past days... too much work!

This little, and nervous, guy is from the same sesion of my previous posts of hawfinches in Andújar (Spain). Blue tits are a very common bird species in the South of Spain but this is the first time I photograph one of this little beauties. Please, feel free to made your suggestions and critics

Beautiful Juan. The definition in the plumage is brilliant. Some lovely lichen too but therein lies the one small nit: I think you need more DOF as the OOF bits are a bit distracting.

You've certainly captured the beauty of this bird in an exemplary manner.

A real beauty, I agree the perch is a little distracting.

Lovely image Juan !!!! Got to love the pose and feather detail !!! Perch is just a jewel !!!

.... David I understand what you are saying about the perch but at this close distances is just not possible to render totally in focus. Consult the dof charts and will give you an idea Will be an eye opener !!!! Oh btw we are all trying to get away from the "nit" comment It seems to have such a negative translation. Thanks !!!!

btw perch wise the only solution for having it all in focus would be a straight perch All in the same plane would be in focus!!!!

I really like the colors in this from the bird to the perch to the BG. Well done!

I like the perch disappearing into the distance. It is not, after all, the subject, so I'd be happy that it did that.
    Bird is precious!

Well done Juan, I like this one just the way it is presented. The darker yellow lichen on the branch seems to enhance the subtle colours of the bird. As well as a pleasing compostion, I like the details and the angle of the bird.
