Default Kids Frolicking in a River

During a visit to a town in Quezon Province (Southern Luzon, Philippines), we went to a river and saw these kids frolicking in the waters. I took my gear and clicked on the shutter while these guys happily continued playing in their natural swimming pool. Makes me miss the younger days when everything is fun and free from the troubles of adult life.

This kid tries to keep his balance while playing in the waters. He eventually slipped and came splashing into the water -- but with an even bigger smile on his face.

Very well captured moment. I love the facial expression. I wish we wouldn't see the leg below the splashing water. You might be able to clone it out if you're OK with that kind of image manipulation. I also would burn the bright spot above his head. I find that it draws my eye away from the boy.

Thank you, Jerry. That is another boy behind him, and yes, I wished he wasn't there but I am not a fan of cloning. :) I agree about the bright spot above the boy's head.

    Mark,

I like the 3D affect the child has. Good job capturing the decisive moment.

Great capture, Mark. I love the boy's expression and the splashing water in the BG.
