Default Pink on Blue - Tampa Spoonie

This nice spoonie was flying out late in the afternoon during an outing with Capt. James last Feb. I thought the lighting and blue background worked well to set off his pinkness.

Post: Selective sharpening, smoothed some brown debris in BG, added sliver of canvas on left.

I wish the near wing was better displayed, but thought the head backed by the far wing was strong enough to make it work, and was pleased with the separation from the BG

    Advice and comments always appreciated.

    Cheers

Sweet BIF shot Randy! The Spoonie stands out well against the blue water. Sweet light too.

Awesome light, details and angle. I agree with your assessment about the wing position. Like that blue BG.

I agree with arash on the sing position, I would like to see the feet.
However, the light, detail and colors are really nice. Well worth framing.

This is a beauty Randy. There is a tiny blue line in the upper left that you must have missed. With your processing skills that should be cake to correct before you print this.

Excellent light and IQ. Agree with your assessment of the near wing. It just means you will have to go out with James again this year!!

    Thanks everyone.

I appreciate the input. Yes, I guess I will have to go out with Capt. James again and try and do better!

    Cheers

    Your own crittique is valid.

A lovely specimen and sweet light. Details are splendid too. The dark BG makes the bird stand.

Hey Randy, Love the contrast with the beautiful background and how the head is framed in the wing. I like it.
