Hi Wynand, great wing position, and head turn, sharp, and good to see the colours on the far wing. Killer BG too. Well timed to get this.

Like the strong eye contact... Excellent wing angle, colours and a beautiful background

Great capture! A little tightly framed for me. The lighting is on the harsh side but super image captured!

Sun is definitely high here, but you did great. Love those colors and how they are complemented by the super background. Good call on the vertical, though would like to see a tad more space on both sides.

Great frame with excellent eye contact and flight pose. Light does appear a little strong. And I'd move the bird slightly to the right in the frame.

Good work in harsh light. without that head turn, it would not have worked...so well done in capturing the right moment.

I like the pose and the wing spread showing the great colors. I agree with Doug on the crop.

Super timing and capture here Wynand! Love the colours on these guys. Oodles of detail in your shot. Doug has made some good suggestions...

I like the wing position and BG. I would also move the bird to the right. Well done Wynand!

Well caught Wynand it is a great moment. My only suggestion: is there a possibiity of reducing the highlights in the head - curves - linear burn or similar?
