    Southern Giant Petrel

    These birds are amazing predators, they will viciously attack any likely prey in or around the water, including sailors floundering in the sea. They are currently on the Threatened list, although nesting sites can be found on quite a number of Falkland Is. Close approach to these sites is prohibited, and care must be taken as the adults will abandon the chicks if harassed. Moreover, with skuas and gulls always waiting in the wings the chicks of all species are particularly vulnerable to predation.

    I love your POV, looking up at birds in the water is not an image one see's very often.
