    Default "Single File"

    Name: Elephants-marching-through-scrub..jpg
Views: 48
Size: 190.9 KB

We were watching some Bee-eaters in Kruger National Park when these three came marching through the scrub down to the river. Had to move away pretty smartly after the shot, not that they were aggressive but these guys have right of way.
EOS50D; EF100-400; f5.6 @ 1/500 ; iso400; Beanbag, almost FF. Had to reduce quality to 39 to fit BPN image requirements.

    C&C allways welcome.

Hi Pieter, good to see the Ellies in single file, raized foot also adds nicely. It was a good idea to move out there way, I would have done the same.

    Hi Pieter,
I like the POV, the light looks a bit harsh and I would have liked the front elephant a little bit further forwards in the image. I would have waited a wee bit longer before I made my getaway. Thanks for sharing and best wishes,
    Mark.

Pieter - a nice habitat shot with the walking poses and I like that all 3 trunks are hanging to the same side.

Nice moment here Pieter. You did well to move - they raise them quite temperamental in Kruger .
Would be nice to see this posted to 250kb.

James posted a sticky a while ago and it was announced in the "general" section if I'm not mistaken. We should probably have posted a sticky here as well
