Default Taking a Break from the Snowy Owl

I spent yesterday morning photographing ducks at the Albuquerque Biopark. There were so many birds that it was hard to isolate one bird. This Wigeon must have been a loner!

Duck is beautiful and the patterns in the water are perfect. Love the head tilt and eye contact.

You just brightened just enough in mine opinion. Great shot and I enjoy our conversation to yesterday.

Hi Doug, tack sharp, and you captured a great HA here. I really like those colours on the head.

The new 70-300 L is impressively sharp and very versatile. It's replaced the 70-200 in my bag.

Hi Doug, lovely eye contact and perfect exposure. I like the crop too.
I find the light streaks around the head and bill and head a tad bright/distracting. Wonder if toning them down a bit would work.

The chocolate water makes this for me . Nice exposure, that bill and head can be difficult.
Agree others on the nice angle.
