Sorry for the lack of participation - haven't had many birding opportunities lately.
I took this image during my trip to India past December.
Perch is kinda big, but I didn't mind it as it seemed to have enough "character".

    Feedback appreciated.

I'm not crazy about the perch but it does have character. The bird is great and so is the background.

I don't mind the perch either. Love the background, compliments the bird perfectly. The
    catchlight is wonderful.

Maybe...crop off just a tad on the right?
Also maybe a little more on the left, which would still leave enough of the
    perch and retain its character.

Perch is a bit big. Very nice IQ. Lots of feather detail and a nice BG. I am not familiar with this bird but I wonder if there is a bit of a magenta cast?

Hey Yogesh, this was my first trip to the valley. What a place!
Unfortunately I could only spend a couple hours there - great birding but not much photography. This was a grab shot.
Lots of life birds for me - yep, tons of flycatchers.
Hope to return there on my next visit.

Hi Sid, good pose, and I like the diagonal perch. You have captured excellent feather detail, sharp, and just love that BG. Im with Gail here, before reading her comment, I felt there is a magenta cast in this. Just tell us we are both wrong.

Good eye, Gail & Stu. I saw this bird after 15 years, so can't trust my memory. But, I played with it a bit, and there indeed is a cast. Thanks!
