I liked the way the curve of the clouds mirrored the curve in the mud flats. I processed this with Color efex tonal contrast and detail extractor and then composited the birds into the composition.

Hi Bob, I like the placement of the birds in this composite and the foreground water curving around. I think I would prefer it with the grasses cropped or evicted along the bottom edge, but that's just me

I love the soft blues and the pinks in the sky, and the curve of the water. The birds were a nice addition. I'm with Andrew on cropping or cloning out the grass.

Wonderful symmetry, Bob. The colors, geese and horizon layers are special. Agree with Andrew and Judy about cleaning up the bottom edge. Great vision and timing!

Beautiful colors and detail Bob! Nice serene feel and mood to the image. Agree about the grass at the bottom, and I would vote for some form of cloning rather than cropping, as I like the overall composition. Very nicely done, I like it!

Bob, some great suggestions already given...cloning out/evicting the grasses along the lower edge...and I'd be tempted to do a graduated density filter effect on the upper 1/2, about to the horizon line, just to bring out those wonderful muted colors a bit. Love the composition.

Bob, The colors are lovely and so is the composition. I would probably crop a sliver off the bottom to clean up the lower edge and then a slight crop on top to just below the small white band if it were mine. Since you added the birds I might put them slightly back in the frame more- again if it were mine Nice eye for this one and great job with the filters!!
