My DAP post that was lost. This is my favorite place to hike - La Chua Trail on Paynes Prairie in Gainesville. This was taken in the fall of 2009. I used Pixel Bender Oil Paint first, then Topaz Adjust Color Pop, then Nik Color GND, DAP Benson (on the whole image) and DAP Camille (on the sky only). I finished it off with Nik Color Sunlight on the flowers.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated

Hi Cheryl, This looks like a beautiful place to hike with the large wetlands. It actually looks amazingly similar to a wetland I often hike at up here called Tiny Marsh. Love the PB work and the large expanse of sky showing as well. Nice one!

Love the treatment, mood and texture, Cheryl. Also reminds me of places around here... minus those special Florida toothy critters.

Nice warm colors on the foliage and lovely sky as well. Nice painterly effect. I might crop a bit from the top to make more of a pano image. Looks like a wonderful place to be!

Beautiful. Simple, clean composition...great lines and textures through the foreground...love the juxtaposition of warm and cool colors...you can FEEL the crisp fall air. Great capture.

Cheryl, This has a very peaceful look to it. A pano crop sounds like it would be another option. Nice job with the filtering.

It also looks like some wetlands I've visited in MS. Nice colors and filtering!

Hi Cheryl, wonderful image and I like the wide expanse of land and sky here. Beautiful colors and so is your processing. I like as it is but also wanted to see if getting a bit more out the sky provide another perspective... hope you don't mind. I selected the sky and used Topaz adjust.
