We found this weathered Black-tailed Deer rack on the north coast of California this weekend. I added a couple layers of fractilius to it. Hope you all like it.

Hi Dan. The image as such strong elements...the undergrowth, the leaf to the right of the skull, the lines and textures of the moss covering the log that supports the skull and rack...I just find myself wanting to see a bit more of the original detail beneath the Fractilius layers. Wonder colors, rich tones, great lines...just a hint more of the original detail would send it over the top.

Dan, I love the look of this. It's got an almost abstract look to it. The different colored diagonal "layers" in the background are interesting, I might try to darken the white lines at the top of the frame if it were mine. Nice find!

The fract filtering looks great on this, Dan. Like the subtle color, soft light, and love how the thorny texture of surrounding area compliments the sharp points of the antlers.

    Hi Don

Very strong elements and colors for a very exciting presentation. Here in the Southern Desert of Arizona we find lots of skulls with short horns, and your antlers add
    a unique touch.

Hi Dan....A strong fract image that could be even stronger if some of the underlying detail was kept. I agree with john my eye wants to see some of the detail in this interesting find

Thanks all! I will see if I can't expose some more detail. The capture was made with a tiny Olympus ps camera, handheld, so not much detail to expose!
