    This was taken at a setup in Costa Rica. It was a foggy morning. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

    Beautiful shot, I love the pose and the colours.
    Did you apply sharpening? I am looking at the top of the head, perhaps the sharpening mask did not hit this area, (??)the feathers look a tad soft so possibly they had been ruffled??

    Thanks for the comments Mark. The BG is thick morning fog. I have some images after the fog rolled out with a forest green BG as well.

    Thanks for the comments Jonathan. I did apply some sharpening and it was applied to all the head feathers as well. The fog was a real challenge on this morning.

    JIm, a fine image. excellent head turn and details. nice perch and clean BG. I love look back poses.

    I'll be in Costa Rica in just over a week and will be photographing Aracaris next Sunday! Good DOF and nice eye contact. I might bump up the contrast just a little.
