Hi Denise, I just happened to check-in and saw this beauty. Great comp, strong tree trunks balanced by the softer ivy. Wonderful colors. Special mention to the Frac treatment, the trees and branches are stunning! I've never found a use I liked for the bi-colored filters, but this application fits so well. I don't see anything I'd want to change. Great sense of depth, I feel like like I could take a stroll right into the image.............Bang-up job!

Looks like something out of Lord of the Rings, an elf or a troll behind every tree...lovely work, colors and composition.

    Nice image and application, Dennise.

Like the texture and colors. Kind of reminds me, a little, of the next image above it! But of course that is of a different vision!

Wouldn't it be magical if your yard really looked like that, with the surreal trees and wonderful colors and textures! Very well done!

Denise, This is surreal and the only thing I would add... is a hint of "fairy dust".

Hi Denise, the more I see this one the more I love it! Steve's 'fairy dust' comment is right on target as it looks like it is straight out of my daughter's Tinkerbell movies

Denise, I like everything about this - it does have a magical feel to it. The only thing I might change is to add a little more of the filtering effect on the far left, the crook of the far left tree and the sky on the left edge towards the top. But it may be my monitor

A superb Sherwood forest., Robin Hood would love it, as I do.

A good mix of magic, you stirred the pot beautifully.

Thanks for sharing your treasure with us.

Late to the party, Denise...but I have to echo an earlier comment...Lord of the Rings does come to mind. Painting back in some of the ivy detail was the perfect touch for this image..I might have painted in a little bit of the detail in the branches as well, moving in and out of the surrealistic effect present now with an almost "out of the mist" sense of stronger structure. Love the colors...good use of the bi-color filter...that filter is tricky, but it can be used to great effect as you've shown here. That would be a nice view to wake up to every morning!

Thanks folks for the comments, it was a fun image to work on.
John, You have given me an idea- surrealism for a theme. We haven't done it in awhile.

This is wonderful Densie! "Enchanted" is a perfect word, great mood and storybook look. The light you captured on the base image is wonderful. There's a nice balance between light and dark tones and really like the ivy, texture, subtle color combinations, and golden glow to the ground cover. Beautifully crafted work of art!

Hi Denise......The bicolor filter and frac work really worked nicely here to give you that strong sense of light and strangeness. It is one of my favorites!
