    Default Bye Bye Kodak?

Just read that Kodak filed for Chapter 11. Couldn't even find a buyer for its patents.
I don't think they're going to survive this.

Anybody know what would happen to Kodak's 1,100 digital imaging patents if/when
Kodak ends up shutting its doors and there haven't been any buyers before then?

Are the patents sold at a reduced price? Are all of the patents sold together or
can some company buy certain patents, but not others?

Technology patents expire after 17 or 20 years so many of those early patents have already expired and many of them are not relevant any more as technology has changed...If they were useful someone would have bought them already...

I just read in another article that the court could put them up for auction.

I think Kodak should put them on ebay, with a Buy It Now.
