    These Canasteros are really pretty cool birds. Sort of like the wrens of the Neotropics...

    I'm just down in Ecuador for another few weeks but will have some fun ones to post once I get home.

    Great image, Glen !! Like the perch as well.
    By the way on my machine the Thumbnail image for your post is of my recently posted Eastern Curlew. Perhaps a result of the last few days problems with BPN ??
