BPN problems??

I have not noticed any general BPN announcement about the site having network.server problems on 1/17 and also a few days before that???? Did I miss it??
There is in the Wildlife Forum at least 2 posts missing today that were there two days ago. So, assuming the site had to revert/recover to a server back-up version. Any clarification on this would help me keep my sanity

Yes, I noticed a whole thread gone that started on 1/17 I think from the Gear forum.

I posted a notice at the top of the forum.
Further info is on the way. We should be all better now and continue to recover from some sort of database disaster.

Strange problem...

The thumbnails for a couple of the OOTB threads are not from that thread, but this only shows up on my Windows 7 machine:




See Let The Game Begin and Eastern State Penitentiary. On my Vista machine the correct thumbnails show up.

I even restarted my Windows 7 machine to see if flushing buffers would solve the problem.

Very strange.

Did the mess also affect how the site is working when you open the site on an iPad? I still do not see everything and now I am getting a message:

It looks good for a few seconds,then there is an invalid redirect message, and then it is blank.

I then delete back bp.net and it opens; however, while I can see membership,guidelines,staff.members, and workshops, all of the rest of the labels are piled on top of each other.

What IS the best way to view and use the site on an iPad?
