    Default Boreal Chickadee, Adirondacks

It has been a long time since I have visited and posted here. I've enjoyed returning today. This is from a couple of weeks ago not far from home in the Adirondacks. Lighting was so low and dull that I used flash as main light but in P mode and ETTL. Some time processing diminished the flash look but after years of stubborn resistance, I will finally give up my ETTL dependence and learn manual flash this weekend. Canon 580EXII on Canon 7D, ISO 800.

nice pose, it does have that flash look a bit especially in the eye...the pine branch in the BG is a bit distracting. neat shot
