    Default Adirondack Moose

It has been a long time since I have posted here. Enjoying visiting again. From this summer close to home in NY's Adirondack Mountains. From my kayak, Canon 7D with 500mm F4 IS handheld, full frame virtually! ACR-CS5 processed with no noise reduction, ISO 400

    Jeff,

Being in the water with them must have been really cool. I like the eye-to-eye view. Nice light and good shadow detail. I would be interested in knowing your shutter speed and aperture on this one.

Were you able to back off and get some looser framed images of him?

The velvet antlers, eye contact and seperated by color hues so it stands out, grass in the mouth, water droplets, muscular movements caught in the neck and mouth areas, and full frame too, way cool here Jeff. You captured what I've been trying to do for the 22 years I've been here in Maine. Well done on all accounts.

You should have called this one "Have a chew anyone". LOL. Nice to see you post.

I like the tightness and the eye level perspective of the shot. Not only a great photo, but must have been fun to see in real life.
