Exp on the black looks good. A bit tight on the top and the shadow looks a bit harsh giving a less than ideal light angle giving no visible detail in the eye! Nice breeding colors..>TFS

    Hi VPN,
I am not loving this one as the light is very harsh. Would like more room at the top,
    Gail

    Hi Gail,
I am sorry about that it was 2 pm and the sun was blazing but I had never seen an Ostrich in the wild before so got very excited and made this image

Hi VP, you certainly did expose the blacks nicely, and agree a little more room on top will work. The males have a black plumage, and in your OP, there is a visible magenta cast which I de-saturated. How does it look?

Real nice shot. Blacks exposed nicely, nice detail too. To bad about the harsh light, but still a nice pic.
    Well done.
