    Hi Folks;

    Bought a lovely white nonstick frying pan yesterday, thought, I wouldn't want to be framed in it, but why not a Hummingbird?

    So, here it is

    Comments always welcomed as a great learning tool.

    Gus

    BTW; Sure like this new black background in BPN

    This is really nice, Gus. How fun that you used a frying pan for a backgound!

    Gus, what a great idea! I especially like the darker curves on the left and the light curves above. The hummer is gorgeous

    Very creative, Gus. I like the idea that the hummingbird is flying toward the light part of the pan, but I wonder how it would look if the pan were rotated CCW so the shadow part of the pan echoed that of the hummingbird.

    BTW: Dennis, if it wasn't for the border I'd give your suggestion a whirl.

    Hi Uncle Gus! I really like this one and it caught my eye immediately in the thumbnails. What a great idea and thanks for sharing the results. Nice sharp capture and very creative treatment.

    You really have some wonderful birds there and great photos of them! Clever idea for this one, it almost looks like it's on a china plate.
