West of Cody Wyoming, opportunity abounds. On a Bighorn Sheep D Robert Franz trip, some feathered friends dropped by. The Townsend Solitair was new to me. temps near 10 degrees, borrowed the use of an 800 IS on a tripod ,unmoveable, for this shot. The abundant juniper berries show the food chain and the environment. I blurred the background a bit and cropped about 50%. I wish the claws were visible, but works for me as an environmental image.

I love the blue berries and yellow in your FG. The snow is a plus and you have a nice angle on the bird. I only wish the BG as it is were not right behind the bird's head since he gets a little lost in it.

I really like this environmental image. if it was mine I would clone out the dark area at the upper right but leave the the area behind the bird as it is.

The blue berries are a real plus to the nice pose on the bird. I might experiment with the background by turning it to all snow and then putting back some of the elements one by one to see which I liked the most.

The juniper berries are terrific. Although they overwhelm the bird a little bit, they make for a lovely environmental image. Congrats on capturing the species! I agree with others about the BG, but not sure what to do with it - maybe all snow??
