    Default PERUVIAN THICK-KNEE (PERU)

    Also from last weekend.
Normally these guys run away, but this one acted like it wasnt there and i tried to act like i havent seen him.
I walked in zig-zag around him trying to find the best shooting angle.
After my flash fired away with this photo, he flew away.
Hopefully this weekend they will be around :D

It sounds as though you worked hard to capture this bird at the best angle. I really like his pose and angle. His eye is amazing. If my eyes are not deceiving me, I might add a touch more sharpening, esp around the head. The sand in the foreground is a bit distracting but it sounds as though you did everything you could to get the best photo. Glad he stood still for you.

Real nice shot. Love the pose and I really like that big eye of his/her. Great flash work.
    Well done.
