    Hello all,
Here is another Yellow Rump Warbler Shot taken on Saturday. Was afraid that I may have cropped this one a bit too tight. Background is dead cat tails in the swamp.

    Thanks for viewing,

    Steve.

A very nice image, Steve. Good sharpness, pose, and background. The open beak is a plus. It's tight in the frame for my taste - I'd like to see more room on the left. A couple minor nits - You're losing some detail in the yellows on the head and you might try lightening the area between the eye and the base of the beak just a bit.

I too would rather see a bit more room but I do appreciate the depth of field, that is something that often trips me up.

Beautiful pose and head angle, and the slightly open beak is a nice bonus. Sharp detail and lovely clean bg. I agree with you that you cropped it a bit to tightly. I'd like to see more room on the left, a bit more on top if you have it, and a little less on the bottom . Very fine warbler image!

Thanks for the comments Linda, Carole, and Steve. Here is another version with a bit more room at the top and left and a tighter crop from the bottom.

    Cheers,

    Steve

I think the repost is an improvement.

This is really nice. I like the repost but would have left the space at the bottom.
