    Default Baby Goose

These little guys spent a morning eating bits of grass and lawn at a local lodge. There were 5 little guys altogether and when the temperature started to get too hot (around 8:30) it was just too much for them and a little nap was the order of the day. Usually quite noise and very protective of their young, the goose let me get quite close to the little guys and I managed to get quite a few of these candid shots.

Adorable. Maybe a good bit off the top would make it even more intimate.

Very cute. A slight crop from the top would be good, and I find the two white stamens (?) a little distracting.

He looks so comfortable!! Very cute. I think this would have been a good horizontal which would have provided some room on both sides of the sleeping gosling. It would have been nice if this little guy was by himself with no other baby in the frame, but they often seep in a pileup so it is not easy to isolate one subject.

Thanks for all the comments folks. Linda, you are right, they do sleep in pile-ups and hence I actually prefer the one in the background as this makes it a bit more "true-to-life". Thanks again !!
