    Thanks VPN.

Can I just clarify in that VPN sent two RAW files to me to look at as he was concerned about colour and in fact the the actual content was all there, it just needed a little tweak IMHO in the colour settings ie WB, Colour temp, Tint, apply a hint of NR to the BKG and that is all I did on the above image, anything more would be wrong for me to do.

Nice image of an alert African wild dog, VP, I like the position of the ears, and the eye contact, and the dogs engaging pose...also like the background and colour. I see the slight magenta cast that Dumay mentioned which should be easily removed in processing.

    Hi Steve
I am actually looking on an Apple screen
If others cannot see it don't worry about it, it doesnt appear to be a very strong colour cast anyhow.
    cheers

I see the magenta color cast.

I would recommend a vertical crop as all the territory on the left and right diminishes the strength of the animals stare.

Love the pose here. Nicely processed Steve.
I too see a slight magenta cast but am viewing on the less-than-ideal laptop screen
Just for clarification VP - I assume you used a 1.4x converter and not a 1.2x converter??

Great "sneaky" look from the dog, magenta cast is very noticable on my non Apple monitor

The leg positions are not clear and confuse me. If it were in 3D then it would be clear, but in 2D two legs look like they are coming out of the neck and also there is not a 4th leg.
I know that is not what is real, but I am not seeing the actual animal but rather a flat 2D image of it which presents limited information.

    Pure evil!
I too find the three legged thing disturbing but that stare - WOW!

It would be interesting to see a tighter crop but I like it the way it is.
It really gives me the sense that its just me and that dog - and the dog knows #1.
