    Hi Folks;

    Captured this Gilded Flicker in our neighborhood, and created the Oil painting using Alien Skin Art Rage free trial that gives you use of the full program, I am impressed with it and have only scratched the surface, though, nails worn down to the quick

    Comments always welcome. Thank you!

    Keep smiling

    I like the pose of the flicker and the contrast of its warm colors with the cooler background. I'd be inclined to give it a bit more room over its head, though.

    Hi Dennis;

    Thanks for looking & your suggestion. Here's a little more room at the top that I agree looks better.

    Best regards

    Gus

    Gus, I like the repost better. Nice job with the capture and the painterly look. Maybe a sliver more on the bottom. You surely have a nice assortment of subjects to shoot.

    Hi Gus, love the look to this. It reminds me of a paint-by-number painting, but that could be because I am currently doing many color-by-number coloring books with my 4 year old daughter.

    Very neat image and application, Gus.

    I lke the effect and the image. Nicely done.

    I agree with Andrew, it's nice to see you get the finger paints out again.

    When you're young, it's cute and educational. When you're "older" it's therapy!
