    Default Bald Cypress and Egrets

This was made at Noxubee Wildlife Refuge in October when the cypress trees had started turning gold and rust. Topaz Adjust and Simplify with the birds masked to preserve detail, a warming filter in Photo Looks scaled back 50% and a light Nik vignette. Pano crop and a bit off the ends too.

Love the natural colors, lake layers, subjects and how some trunks show through, Judy. The tree texture is very appealing and the lone heron(?) in LRC is a neat element for me. I might try to tone down or clone the bright white spot between the trunks on the LR if it were mine. Very peaceful scene!

I really like the Simplify effect you applied to the trees, and the layered look -- including the line of egrets -- is appealing. I agree with Steve about the white spot.

Lovely scene, Judy. I like the lone GBH (or maybe it's a blue heron, I can't tell) on the right. I agree about the white spot Steve mentioned.

Hi Judy, very nice scene. I like the pano crop. Ditto Steve's comments. I too was drawn to the Great Blue Heron immediately....it adds a nice touch to the image.

Thanks everyone! I'll try to remove the white spot which is an egret I'm sure.

I removed the spot and a couple of light stumps on the right side.
