Nicely done. Strong look in both eyes, clean BG and nice perch that does not distract.

Couldn't have said it better than Robert. Love the soft light, look-back pose and the amber eyes - and especially the "clean" surroundings...
Happy 2012 to you, and may good light and good sightings come your way...

An image that offers good definition, sleek lines and form to this athletic, of animals. I like the look back and as Robert has mentioned, the BKG offers a good backdrop separating the subject. I also like the slight tip of the tail with a hint of movement, I guess that is where the DOF is 'tailing' off.

Good to see you back posting.

Absolutely no nits from me. I like the look back pose and the view of his sinewy, elongated back. Great 'perch" and BG as well.

Dumay - I agree with all of the above - nice light, look back pose and tail placement. Well done on all counts

    Very cool pose, Dumay.
    Agree with all, great photo.
The setting gave you a great DOF, couldn't be better.

Dumay, great pose! I love the look on his face. His long sleek body is shown off very well in this pose. TFS

Super cheetah shot Dumay, and processed to perfection. Love the termite mound pose, the soft light, and the background. Great job all around. My only nit is Steve K's weak joke above, "tailing off" really Steve
I have been away from the forum a bit, I am wondering if you got more shots from this sighting that I have missed....TFS

LOL Grant, it had been a very long day and a very long drive.

Thanks everyone...Grant this was a quick sighting, he jumped up on the termite mound I took about 12 images and he was off...This was about the best of the bunch!

    Dumay,

Great image always nice when they pose on a termite mound, if only it happened more often
