    Nikon D300 ,Nikkor 200-400mm f/4G ED-IF AF-S VR
    1/500s f/4.0 at 400.0mm iso250
    hand held in 3 feet of snow, natural light, 90% of FF
    no bait.

    I've loved your owl images, Raymond. They all have a sense of place and nice feel to them. The eyes in this one are beautiful and the weeds coming thru the snow are a nice plus.

    Beautiful image of this Snowy Owl, Raymond. A change of pace from all those in-your-face flight images we've seen this winter. If this is an old fence post, the image would belong in the "Hand of Man" forum. :cool:;)
