    Default Great Horned Owl Painting

    Hi Folk;

    I created a tight cropped head, and because I nopticed that my oil paintings were the majority preferences, I
    decided to create another oil painting using Alien Skin Art Rage, a little pricey of the other painting programs I have,
    but after using it I would have saved money having it, and just a couple of the others.

    After looking at some of the other OOTB postings I don't think a simple oil painting is anywhere near the top of the list,
    and eons behind Maureen Allen's bubbles which IMHO is the envelope pushing #1 OOTB submission in my time here as
    a poster in the greatest Forum of them all.

    Here is my simple tight cropped Great Horned Owl oil painting from a capture taken next door up in a Eucolyptus tree.
    Frames optional after printing on canvas

    Comments always welcomed

    Gus

    Hi Folks;

    Owl doesn't look as great on BPN default as my desktop. To see more of the oil painting strokes, Click View>Zoom>150%. I notice all posts improve when you do that.

    Best regards

    Gus

    Hi Gus, I love this painting! The eyes are great! Today at 5am while driving down the highway I saw a lovely Snowy Owl sitting on top of a street light. Gonna have to looking for it tomorrow in the daylight.

    Gus, what a great oil painter you are! I really like the slightly cocked head and of course, those big yellow eyes.
