HI VPN, looks quite yellow in appearance to me, plus I am not sure about the ISO/sharpening combination?

Will comment more later, just a first pass.

Hi VPN, all I have done is changed the Mid grey point, Colour temp, Tint, applied a little Sat & USM and Saved for web from your file sent. Now it may not be spot on as I am still away, so will have another look tomorrow.

Colour Temp was 4650 Tint 16

    WDYT?

VP - Steve hit the nail on the head for me here. The OP is overtly yellow, perhaps the result of a cloudy/shade WB setting shot in bright conditions?
Your repost is better ito colour, though Steve's is closer to how I think it would have looked...
Your repost might just be a fraction overcooked on the sharpening side as the fur and grass upfront look "crunchy"...

    Nice expression though!

    Hi

I think your repost have a tad of too much noise reduction in background and sharpening of the lion. And also to much yellow. I think Steves repost is better. Using that focal length I assume you were quite close to the lion taking the picture. I would like a lower angle of the lion, which would make the grass look better close up. Nice lion though. His face looks a little long to me, but I guess that is what he looks like.

Hi Morkel, the Exif data shows - Light source Cloudy weather, WB Manual. The RAW file doesn't look too far off, Col Temp 5700 so I would suggest it's change is through PP.

    VPN.

Very nice Lion with beautiful tongue, OP is for me too yellow, but Steve's repost is way to Magenta as shown by the colour of the tongue
