Was trying to capture some splash on this stationary bird on that day with first day of 800 lens and it was quite fun at that focal length .. wish could have been early on that day with this chap as the 12'O clock heat affected the range a bit.

    C&C Welcome.

Beautiful job on the whites, shows great texture and detail. Love the droplets of water and gorgeous BOKEH on the BG and FG. Nice job!

Awesome image Mital...Plenty of details in whites...looks like you quickly adopted to this new lens...I am curious if you used tripod or was this taken handheld?

Hi Mitalbhai, good fishing pose from the egret, and surely that fish wasnt enough for his meal. Excellent exposure on the whites, falling droplets, and I like your BG. Although they have long legs, maybe adding a bit more to the bottom for 'some of the virtual legs'.

MItal, congrats on the new lens. This shot definitely has the 800mm look. great BG, pose, details and exposure. A little tight in the frame(the virtual legs issue as Stu mentioned) but otherwise pretty much perfect.
