    Default Pintail fract

A Pintail drake from an outing to Toronto's Humber Bay Park on Lake Ontario.

Fractalius settings for this one were as follows (the first number is for the first set of adjustment sliders while the second number is for the second set of sliders):

    Sharpness...37.....40
    Line Width...07.....11
    Radius........21......88
    Diffusion.....50......25
    Depth.......-14....-16

    Brightness....-01
    Saturation.....22
    Scale..........-38

This was applied to a background layer with opacity reduced to about 50 or 60%

    Look forward to comments.

Really like the subtle frac processing and wonderful base image capture, Andrew. The adjustment to saturation works well, and composition has a kind of dream like quality to it.
    Nice work!

I, too, like the subtle Fractalius effect. The colors are great, and the blur of the wing tips takes the image up a notch in my opinion. For the sake of composition, I'd suggest cropping some from the bottom and right and adding canvas to the top and left.

Very nice fract effect to this Pintail Andrew! I loved seeing the series on your blog. I would say the Dennis' crop is nice with maybe a teeny sliver more on the bottom

Andrew, beautiful base image and fract effect. The pose, light and soft colors really work well. Excellent work!

Thanks for the comments all, much appreciated. I was thinking along the lines of Dennis, with thecrop, but thought I would post the original capture to see what folks thought of it as is.
