    Hi

Captured at the Monteverde Hummingbird feeders

Action was in a dark hidden spot so I used flash; the image is very different from my usual

    Hi Richard,
I find the composition way too tight and the flash a bit too strong. I like how the beaks are positioned though.Nice and sharp,
    Gail

I love the action here and feel the image is worth more pp. Is this the full frame? I would love to see a little more of the right side bird. I think if you toned down the flash a little and removed the flash in the eyes it would be awesome. Great colors too.

    Thanks Cheryl and Gail

Interesting comments; not full frame but subjects very close;afraid there isnt much rh bird to work with this kind of thing happens so fast composition by reaction is all one can do; will have another look as I think it has
interesting possibilities. With regard to removing flash effect in the eyes- I read somewhere here this is easy fix, anyone care to advise; not my normal stuf.

    Hi

    So from CR2 file again

cropped from left to centralise; found a little more RH bird

did not rotate this time, nor crop below branch; could easily go square again with that

worked on steel eyes and toned down a little
