Hello everyone. Well two days before Christmas we had a winter storm here in our great desert. Its one of the few, few times we get to see snow. So I told my wife "IF it snows Im going shooting no matter what" Well it snowed drove to local lake and searched for any brave bird that was out to shoot. Keep in mind we hardly ever, ever have temps drop into the teens, so we dont really own super warm clothes. All I had on was sweat pants (pj's underneath) and two sweaters on. Got off the car the wind blew in my face and I said to myself "Im insane". Found this coot walking around crawled to it as fast as I could. Fired a test shoot looked for blinkies adjusted settings fired a couple more and ran to the car. I had never been so cold in MY life. So enough of the chatter and here is what I came up with.
    C&C welcomed and encouraged.

Robert nice one and a good story. I think you have got the expsoure right. I'd remove the white spots on the coot (take that they are snow flakes).

These guys have funky looking partially webbed feet. I like the raised feet and the snow adds to the picture a lot, especially if it shot in Texas.
I like the story too. I have all the warm clothes but you cannot dress your feet good enough.
